Japanese-Brazilians in Japan

The appetizers from the reception luncheon. In the middle is a shrimp's head for decoration. The left is salmon rolled-up very neatly. The right was more rolled-up fish. The top is a clam, if I remember correctly. The bottom is bits of raw shrimp with a chunky avocado sauce "artfully" displayed on a slice of avocado peel. Even though it all looks like cheesy, expensive food that yuppies ate in movies during the '80s, the appetizers were quite tasty! Note the birdy dishes.
