I really would like to invest in some Japanese construction worker wear before we move home. I didn't know they had amazing designer-wear versions of the famous pants until one day I was taking the local train downtown on a weekday and they next to me had on an incredible brown, poly/rayon blend coverall and a great punch perm. He was about my age, I guessed, but he looked like he really wanted to be a gangster. Here's an awesome style. Here's a great denim version. Here's another denim pant. For my own personal style, I prefer these.
They also make really great safety shoes in Japan. Who would have imagined steel-toed sneakers?!
