a local train

This is the bus train (you get on it like a bus--take a ticket and pay the driver when you get off) that runs from Hamana Lake 浜名湖 to Kakegawa Station 掛川駅. It's a nice ride with pleasant scenery. I took this last summer--you can tell the season by the state of the rice plants. This train actually comes in different colors, light blue stripes, dark blue stripes, tan and brown, which I only realized yesterday.
